Do you believe this weather? Last night’s weather report says a slow-moving snow-heavy storm is inching in my direction from the west — some unusual southern jet stream meets polar vortex marriage of misery meaning 5 to 7 more inches of snow on the way. Ugh.

The deep ice-topped snow is so hard on my old puppy. She stumbles, she falls, she gets stuck, she hurts afterward. Today our morning dog walk was met with a breezy -20°. I can tell how sore she is. I know I speak her mind when I say this weather is getting pretty darn old.

I’ve temporarily cut back on blogging to see to things that need my attention like learning how to re-grout tile. Barringother surprises like crumbling tile grout, I’ll be blogging regularly again in approximately two weeks.
