Before I continue with my Funday post…I’ll be cutting back on blogging temporarily as I put my house in order. I’ve made commitments here, so I will complete the 100 Things Challenge.
My pre-made mini posts will go on my other blogs over the next several days. To see those, check out the links below. I’m involved in several writing prompt projects all week long on my satellite blogs, so those will be posted too.
Come March, I’ll be in The Romance Reviews month long anniversary bash. I should be done cleaning around then.
For now, here’s a little something to ponder:

Another educational video. It would be interesting to research each section to see the documentation.
I’m glad you liked it Ray. You might get to some documentation by searching for individual words on wikipedia. Not all of wikipedia is a waste of time if you follow the citations at the end. Also, try this. In it there are references to Conquistador encounters with giants. http://books.google.com/books?id=06UbAQAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=de+vaca&hl=en&sa=X&ei=rfthUZ3ZNaH9igL9-4D4Dg&ved=0CD0Q6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=de%20vaca&f=false
Thanks Rose, I haven’t found what I was looking for yet, but the introduction is interesting.
I read that de Vaca and his mother were born in Jerez de la Frontera. Jerez is the Spanish name for Port wine. the Jerez airport is the one I flew into every time I joined a ship in Rota, Spain. Not that I like Port, but in the nearby city of Puerto Santa Maria our church meets in a sanctuary inside a winery’s warehouse.
What a find this document is.
Thank you again.
Great! You’re welcome.
